Terms
By sending a letter through Email to Snail, you agree to these terms.
What we do
You type a note. We print it on paper, sign it with your first name, and mail it by USPS to the address you give us. The letter is printed, not handwritten. US addresses only.
Your note
- The note must be from you, written by you, to someone you know who would welcome hearing from you.
- It may not threaten, harass, bully, or frighten anyone, and may not contain hateful, obscene, or illegal content.
- You may not pretend to be someone else, or write to anyone who has asked you not to contact them or is protected from contact with you.
- You are responsible for what your note says. We print your words as you wrote them and do not edit them.
We may decline any letter
We only review a letter if something looks wrong. We may decline, hold, or refund any letter for any reason, including if we believe it breaks these terms. If we decline a paid letter, we refund it.
Payment and refunds
We print a letter only after payment is received. If we have not mailed your letter yet, you may cancel for a full refund. Once a letter is mailed, it cannot be recalled or refunded.
Delivery
Delivery times are estimates. Once a letter is with USPS, we do not control when or whether it arrives. We are not responsible for USPS delays, lost mail, or letters that cannot be delivered because of an incorrect or incomplete address you gave us.
Limits
Email to Snail is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any letter is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page applies to letters sent after it is posted.
